Daylight Savings is hereWhen the clock strikes 2 a.m. later Saturday night, it will suddenly be 3 a.m. for a majority of America.

Daylight Savings Times has arrived once again and for those of us who are thrilled with added sunlight, it is the best time of the year. An extra hour of light in March begins the path to full-on summer nights with sunlight, in many locales, beaming strong until after 8 p.m.

Always a fascinating study is how bars across the land handle the spring ahead. For many with a last call of 3 a.m., does that mean an hour less of libations? It has been this writer’s experience never to be the case. What bar owner wouldn’t take that hour of paying customers, particularly at the end of the night?

So when you wake up tomorrow morning, know this, you’ve lost an hour of a day in a world that doesn’t have enough time!
