“Gone With The Wind” Actress Dies At 76

Cammie King Conlon, who portrayed Clark Gable and Vivien Leigh’s daughter in “Gone With The Wind,” died of lung cancer at age 76.  The child actress had only three film credits to her name, including “Bambi.”

According to IMDB, Conlon was quoted as saying, “I was… age five when I peaked.  Imagine being in two classics and never doing another thing after that.”

Conlon, a native of Los Angeles, had two children, three grandkids and worked as the marketing coordinator for the Bragg-Mendocino Coast Chamber of Commerce.
