The fantastic Ms. Betty White is more popular than ever these days.  Not that her 65-year career has ever slowed down much, it just seems that a whole new generation of fans has emerged with gusto.  No one loves her more than the all important 18-24 set, as proven with her wildly popular and Emmy winning appearances on SNL, as well as her hilarious Snickers ads.  But there are quite a few interesting tidbits that all those young whipper snapper fans don’t even know about America’s Sweetest Little Old Lady.

Time to get schooled, kiddies.

Here are 5 Fun Facts you never knew about Betty White.  You’re welcome.

1.  She has no kids.  What a waste of an awesome Grandma!

2. She’s an avid animal advocate.  This probably relates to #1.  Ms. White is on the Board of Directors at The Los Angeles Zoo and has donated millions of dollars to animal charities throughout her lifetime.

3.  She was a recurring guest star on the original Password, and in 1963 and she married the host, Allen Ludden!

4.  She’s a vegetarian. So then, what the heck is she doing with that hot dog?!

5.  In 2010, she became the last surviving member of the four The Golden Girls.  I have a feeling that Betty White just might live forever.
