A disgruntled employee opened fire in a Philadelphia Kraft factory, killing two people and injuring one.

Police were able to arrest the shooter, Yvonne Hiller, after an hour standoff.

While it’s difficult to say exactly what made Hiller go off, it probably had something to do with the fact that she was recently fired.

It was known that earlier on Hiller was fired from her job, but minutes later she reappeared, driving trough the security barrier and carrying a .357 magnum.  There were around 100 people inside the factory at the time. Via TPI News

It was reported that Hiller worked for Kraft for 15 years.

Not to make light of the situation, but in the tragic history of shootings that have taken place at workplaces, women are not high on the list of those committing the crimes.
