NEW YORK, NY: There is nothing better than an unforgettable concert and that is exactly what Jay-Z and Eminem gave their fans. They put on a concert of a lifetime at the new Yankee Stadium this week and showed fans what an unforgettable show is all about.

Their Home and Home tour kicked off two weeks ago in Detroit and made its way to the Empire State for two packed shows Monday and Tuesday that won’t be soon forgotten. These two shows gave fans their money’s worth and even brought out special guests including Drake, Kanye West, Chris Martin, Nicki Minaj, Swizz Beatz and as one would expect, Beyonce.

Jay-Z started off his set by saying, “Before I start this piece, let me say, rest in peace to the boss, George [Steinbrenner],” the owner of the Yankees who passed away back in July. Jay-Z was ecstatic about being back in his hometown and said,

It’s one of the most unbelievable feelings in the world, being from New York and being in Yankee stadium.

Also during the show, the pair did a tribute to hip-hop greats that have passed on including the Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur. The 14th anniversary of Tupac’s death was Monday.

Most of the 50,000 fans stayed until the end of the concert which featured Jay-Z doing a Linkin Park mash-up of “Encore.” Jay-Z was touched by the night and finished it by saying, “This night was like a gift for me. I hope I returned it tenfold.”
