Lohan’s in jail and she better know it.
Hopefully, SOMEONE finally had enough of her antics and is about to throw a big, brass book at her sniffly face.
According to the report, Superior Court Judge Elden Fox ordered Lohan to be held in jail — without bail — until an October 22 probation hearing. She is headed to the same Lynwood facility where she spent time behind bars earlier this summer. This will be her third time behind bars at the same lockup. Her previous stays at the women’s jail near downtown Los Angeles lasted 84 minutes, and 14 days.
Man, that Superior Court Judge Elden Fox is such a Mean Girl! (It’s sad that Lohan has only one good film to try to make jokes with.)
The 24-year-old actress tested positive for cocaine at a random drug screening two weeks ago. She also failed a second random test which showed amphetamines in her system, according toTMZ.com.
Judge Fox told Lohan that she’d be sending her to jail for 30 days for each drug violation.
According to the KTLA report, Lohan admitted the “setback” September 17 on her Twitter feed and said she was “ready to face the consequences.”
“Regrettably, I did in fact fail my most recent drug test and if I am asked, I am prepared to appear before Judge Fox next week as a result,” she wrote.
DOES THIS one seem like it’s for real? Like, for real, for real?
I have a feeling that this judge seriously has had enough. She doesn’t live in a bubble and has to be aware of the media hoopla that has surrounded Lohan’s troubles with the law.
For a judge to, yet again, show any sort of leniency on the “star” would only serve to show that that judge isn’t working as she should be for those in the community.
And, while jail may not be the best place for anyone to get off of drugs and learn how to actually be a contributing member to society, it’s come to the point that Lohan just needs to be locked away for a while in a place where she can’t tweet herself into any more trouble and can’t get bailed out.
Man, I hope this day becomes a national holiday.
