Simon Cowell’s XXX Factor Scandal

Simon Cowell, who recently left American Idol after it made him richer than God, is now stirring the pot on the other side of the pond. The X Factor, which is basically American Idol with no age limit, apparently has no limits at all. Cowell, creator and judge, has allowed one contestant to stay on the show despite knowing that she’s a “woman of the night.”

I guess it was only a matter of time until a hooker became famous again. After all, it’s been years since Hugh Grant and his lady friend, Divine Brown, sullied up our TVs.

We haven’t banned prostitutes, Cowell said. If a person applies to The X Factor, it’s obvious they want to do something better with their life.

The concubine in question is 19-year-old Chloe Mafia (real name Chloe Heald), who lied to the judges by saying she was jobless. Since it broke that she was indeed, a curb crawler, Mafia is in cahoots with tabloids who are currently negotiating five-figure deals with the teenager about her more than 140 arrests.

140 arrests? At 19? Has she been a criminal since she was in diapers?

Despite being booed by the audience in the first round, the lusty lady made it through. And you know Cowell, whose philosophy is “there’s no such thing as bad publicity,” is loving every moment of his ingenue’s instant fame.

I applaud Mafia for trying to better herself, but maybe spilling the beans on her checkered past was a bit of an over share. What do you think?
