Keeping in line with the all-geek themed weekend people have planned, it seems only fitting to dish about another nerd. This nerd, however, is unlike most nerds because she’s hot, sexy, rich and super famous.
Yes, I’m talking about Harvard grad/Star Wars icon Natalie Portman.
As a Harvard alum, Portman helped out a fellow Hollywood peep by sitting down to dinner and dishing about the goings on at her super elite alma mater. Screenwriter Aaron Sorkin, who penned The Social Network, has made it known that Portman painted a picture on what it was like as a Harvard University undergrad at the time all the Facebook shenanigans were going down.
There are highly exclusive clubs at Harvard designated for the richest of rich, and it made it very difficult for Sorkin to properly research for the film. Luckily, Portman is loaded so she was certainly in the know.
In what has to be the most exciting phone call of most men’s lives, Portman reached out to Sorkin to help.
Natalie Portman got in touch with me when she heard that I was doing this to say, ‘Listen … come over for dinner and I’ll tell you some stories,” he said.
I bet he was hoping for stories about all-girl late night pillow fights, but whatever he got seemed to be helpful because the movie rings pretty darn to true to life and is being hailed by some as the movie of the year.
I wonder if all movies based on Harvard will come with a dinner with Natalie Portman in the future?
