Fear not Sanders fans, we’ve got another one. Enter Barry Sanders Jr. The former Detroit Lions great’s son runs a lot like his dad for Heritage Hall (Okla.) High School and now he’s looking to figure out where to head to college.
According to reports, Sanders Jr. has narrowed down his choices to his father’s alma mater Oklahoma State, followed by Alabama, UCLA and Florida State.
Whichever school gets him is going to not only have one of the more electric high school players to come out in recent years, but one of the best bred. Video after the jump.
Sanders Jr. is just as elusive as his dad and equally as hard to take down once you somehow figure out how to touch him.
And while he may have a lot to live up to, Sanders Jr. isn’t too worried.
‘I haven’t really felt much pressure, because my family hasn’t really been pressuring me,’ Sanders said. ‘I think that when people start feeling the pressure, it’s because it’s coming from the family and the people you’re around. But nobody I’m really close with has been pressuring me into it, so I feel like I can go anywhere I want to.’ Via The Washington Post
His best performance came Friday against Tulsa NOAH; he scored five touchdowns — three in a four-carry span — and ran for 313 yards on 13 carries.
