Will Donald Trump be giving President Obama a run for his money in 2012? That’s what people are wondering after word of a New Hampshire poll hit the news circuit. The thirty-question poll surveyed New Hampshire residents about Donald Trump, his reality show The Apprentice, his political donations, and whether they would help him or not in a future political campaign. Strangely enough, no one is sure exactly where this poll came from. Trump is denying that he had anything to do with it.
When asked about running for president, Trump hypothesized, “I’ve never had any interest [in running for office] before. If I ever did, this would be the time… because we’ve never had a country that’s sunk and that’s gone to levels as low as it is right now. We’re getting that inferiority complex, which we’ve never had.” Sounds like someone has some plans.
He continued, saying,
I think I’m qualified [to be president] because I deal with countries that are taking us to lunch in a negative sense. I deal with Chinese. I know the Chinese. I understand the Chinese. They laugh at our stupidity. They laugh at how stupid our leaders are.
Donald Trump’s business organization has been getting some laughs too. Trump business partner Tevfik Arif was arrested last Friday on multiple charges in connection with human trafficking, prostitution, and organizing a criminal gang, reported The New York Daily News.
So is he eying the the Oval Office? I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what Donald Trump has up his sleeve.
