Are you still a fan of the Blackberry’s front facing QWERTY keyboard but looking for a change of phones? Verizon thinks it may have the answer for you with its new Motorola¬†Droid Pro Android smart phone.

The Droid Pro will be shipping this week at an undisclosed price.

Sure, but what about the features?

Glad you asked.

The Droid Pro features:

  • 1 GHZ processor
  • Android 2.2 operating system
  • 3.1 inch touchscreen display
  • 2GB internal memory and microSD card slot (2GB card included)
  • Mobile hotspot capable
  • World phone with support for SIM card usage outside the US
  • 5 megapixel camera with dual LED flash
  • DNLA support via WiFi

An early hands-on review from compares it to the Blackberry.

Motorola’s BlackBerry? The freshly-announced Moto Droid Pro’s keyboard feels like it, to be sure, and after trying it out, we believed the Motorola rep who told us they tested comparable speeds of 37WPM in several focus groups. But that’s definitely Android under the hood, paired with a nice, responsive capacitive touchscreen and a 1GHz processor that sped through the UI. Check it out in our gallery below while we go find out more!

Have no fear, though, as soon as you buy this, there will be a better, newer, smart phone that will make you envious again.
