We’ve all wondered if aliens actually exist and if UFO sightings are the real deal or bogus. In China, UFO sightings are almost commonplace and airports have been shut down on more than one occasion. Wang Sichao, a research fellow at the Purple Mountain Observatory, has been studying UFO’s for 40 years and is convinced that we’ll see more of the otherworldly beings in the next two years.

The most recent incident took place around 8:00 p.m. on September 11th when a flight was forced to circle the Baotou airport after air traffic controllers reported seeing a UFO near the runway. The airplane was forced to circle the airport for over an hour but managed to land safely shortly after. In China, this was the eighth reported UFO incident since June.

Sichao, of Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, is certain we’ll see more UFO’s in the near future.

First, I’d like to say something about the conception of great events about UFOs. It does not mean large numbers of UFOs but refers to events of credible facts backed by observation. But these facts cannot yet be explained by existing scientific knowledge or natural phenomena. Through 39 years’ investigation and research, I found that in years ending with the numbers 1, 2 or 7—such as 1971, 1981, 1991, 1982, 1992, 2002, 1977, 1987, 2007—great UFO events would happen. So, I think 2011 and 2012 will be another two active years.

  2. Wow – that really does look REAL! It’s probably just some crazy Chinese space house or something that scientists have been nerding about secretly for the past 16 months…
