Authorities said 10 people were injured in a rollercoaster accident Thursday at Knott’s Berry Farm in Orange County, California, according to NBC News.
According to NBC, Knott’s spokeswoman Jennifer Blazey told the Orange County Register that a train leaving the station didn’t make it over the first hill and rolled back into another train. One person who was getting into a waiting train and nine people on the train that rolled back were injured.
Makes you want to get on a roller coaster, doesn’t it? I mean, sure, this kind of thing happens once in a blue moon, but still, it happens.
Oh, “once in a blue moon” is like once every two and a half years, to be sure.
Fire Authority Capt. Greg McKeown said the injuries were minor. He said two rollercoaster trains collided in the station where park guests board the ride, according to NBC.
If you can show me ONE person in that park who went on another ride after this happened I will show you a man who walks with no fear.
ACTUALLY, if you think about it, riding another ride right after a ride in the same park crashes would statistically be the best time to ride that ride.
