When I was a kid I was always miffed that there was Mother’s Day and Father’s Day and there wasn’t a Kids Are Awesome Day where you could pour as much sugar on your cereal as you wanted.
So, BOSSES get a day? Last time I checked (which was never) I didn’t see any National Employee Appreciation Day.
Oh, wait, there is one. But, whatever, that isn’t the point here.
C’mon, bosses get paid more than you and get to, well, boss you around. So, what are you supposed to do for them on Bosses Day? Let them boss you around more?
Do you let them kick your dog? What more do they want?
I think that bosses, if they are GOOD bosses, should be happy with the fact that they are bosses.
I mean, sure, get them an apple or something if you want to be a brown noser OR you could just get your work done.
In any event, if you’re looking to get fired, you could take a cue from some of these ways to show your boss appreciation on National Bosses Day, October 15.
