Remember Nick Swardson from Reno 911 fame? He played Terry the rollerskating male prostitute. Well the comedian’s new sketch comedy show, Pretend Time, debuted last night on Comedy Central and it’s full of rude fun.

You’ll meet an array of wacky characters including Officer Garry Gaga (Lady’s brother) and a gay robot doorman. In the first two episodes alone, the viewer will be bombarded with donkey sperm, tears, blood and vomit. Sound like your kind of show?

Nick Swardson talked about how exhausting it was on set. He said, “I was changing characters constantly. I was putting on mustaches and bald caps and wigs and then ripping them off. I felt like I was losing my mind after a while.”

Nick Swardson, 33, was born in Minneapolis to writer/editor parents. His parents divorced while he was in high school and those emotions fueled his desire to act. When Swardson was 18, he went to open-mic night at a local club and was immediately hooked. Of that night, Nick Swardson said, “It was a high like I had never experienced. I acted out my cat vomiting and stuff like that.” Shortly after, he moved to New York and LA to pursue comedy full time. Later, Swardson crossed paths with Adam Sandler and the pair worked together on a variety of projects. Sandler’s production company, Happy Madison is working on Pretend Time.

Nick Swardson’s Pretend Time is crude but if it’s your thing, check it out.
