Bill O’Reilly and The View hosts, Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar didn’t quite see eye-to-eye when discussing the proposed mosque on the World Trade Center Site, prompting the ladies to exit stage left.

O’Reilly is known to be pretty open with his opinions and so are the ladies on The View.

I guess putting them both together was a bad idea.

Video after the jump.

Here’s how it went down according to the NY Daily News:

Though O’Reilly accepted that they had the “right” to erect the mosque, which is part of a planned Islamic community center, he claimed that “70% of Americans don’t want that Mosque down there.”

Behar argued that she was an American and that she agreed with the President, who said he supported the mosque’s right to be there, but later would not say one way or another if it was appropriate.

This led to O’Reilly declaring that “Muslims killed us on 9/11.”

In response, Goldberg yelled “bulls—” and explode that “Extremists did that!”

O’Reilly continued to criticize Muslims, which led Behar to stand up.

“I don’t want to sit here right now,” she said. “I’m outraged.”

The co-host walked off with Goldberg by her side as the audience broke out in applause.

“You have just seen what should not happen,” Barbara Walters broke in. “We should be able to have discussions without screaming and walking off stage.”
