Well, at least it’s not The View again. I don’t know about you, but I’d like to believe that President Obama has more important things to do each day than cow tow to middle America by gabbing it up with the most obnoxious women in TV. He is kind of a busy guy these days.

It seems no one wants to hear him give highly important and pertinent State of the Union speeches, especially LOST fans, so Obama is trying to reach out to a younger, smarter audience by doing a walk-on role on the cable show “Mythbusters” later this year.

He’ll be quizzing the show’s hosts about an ancient weapon of mass destruction.

That’s funny, I thought Bush was the expert on those things. Oh, wait  — he never found any.

All this prime time TV time isn’t new to Obama, who is the first sitting president ever to appear on late-night talk shows and The worst show ever View.

He’s also been making the rounds on smaller networks and show, like  MTV and ESPN. One place he isn’t hanging out — Fox News. I can’t say I blame him.

Discovery IS the smart channel, too, which is again why Bush probably wasn’t asked to appear, and it’s also based in Washington. The President taped a short appearance on the show as part of a White House science fair promotion.

According to NY Daily News:

On the popular show — where the hosts try to prove the veracity of historical and scientific tales — Obama asks if they can get to the bottom of the myth that ancient Greek scientists, including the famous Archimedes, set fire to an invading Roman fleet by using mirrors to reflect rays of the sun.
