It’s hard to say if any woman could get over the fact that her husband would wear Crocs, but that he would wear such an unflattering shoe while posing naked on his bed sending lewd texts to potential mistress seems like it would be more than any wife could bear.

Still, Deanna Favre says her religious faith and an outward focus are helping her through the awful allegations of improper behavior against her famous, football playing, multi-million dollar earning husband, Brett.

Deanna Favre appeared on “Good Morning America” today to discuss her new book, one that she co-authored with Shane Stanford called “The Cure for the Chronic Life,” which is about getting past hard times and patterns of unhealthy behavior.

Dina is a breast cancer survivor, so she knows what it means to search for a cure.  According to Amazing:

Deanna Favre, a breast cancer survivor and wife of NFL legend Brett Favre, and Shane Stanford, an HIV-positive minister, have both lived a life of unanswered questions, broken relationships, and poor decisions. Chronic hopelessness was part of their everyday lives as it is for many people. But Deanna and Shane discovered the transforming grace and strength of a God who provides answers for questions and possibilities for uncertainties. The Cure for the Chronic Life is a 40-day journey out of hopelessness making use of the acronym CURE -Compassion, Understanding, Response, and Encouragement. Jacketed hardcover.

Sounds like a very positive message, one that she might need right now more than ever in light of her husband’s alleged indiscretions.

During the interview, Deanna was asked how she’s handling the accusations against Brett Favre, who is being investigated by the NFL for sending racy messages and naked photos to Jenn Sterger.

Deanna Favre says: “I’m handling this through faith.”
