High winds have forced authorities to stop flights at O’Hare International Airport in Chicago.
A spokeswoman for the Chicago Department of Aviation says officials issued a temporary “ground stop” at O’Hare on Tuesday, meaning no flights are departing.
Flying is definitely the most stressful form of transportation. I once had to sleep overnight at Newark International Airport in New Jersey due to snow. That. Was. Scary.
Aviation Department spokeswoman Karen Pride says more than 125 flights have been canceled at O’Hare. No cancelations are being reported at Midway International Airport on Chicago’s South Side, according to The Huffington Post.
No word yet on when they plan to restart flights.
