Dallas Cowboys’ quarterback Tony Romo broke his clavicle during last night’s 41-35 loss to the New York Giants. Cowboys fans should just seriously focus on the World Series right now.

The break happened in the second quarter after the celebrity dating quarterback delivered a pass and was hit hard.

“I tried lifting my shoulder and it hurt like heck, but I was like, OK, it will just keep getting better,” Romo told ESPN. He said he had thought that he might be able to return to the game, adding “but that was before I knew it was broken.”

Since the Cowboys have only mustered one win this season, I’d think they’d sit Romo for the rest of the year unless 1. the miraculously were in the playoff hunt toward the end of the season and 2. Romo had recovered enough to play.

NFL journeyman QB Jon Kitna looks like he’ll helm the Cowboys’ sinking ship for the rest of the year.

Have a blast Captain Ahab!
