If working at one of the coolest companies on earth wasn’t already awesome enough, Google revealed today that it will be stuffing the stockings of it’s employees this year – big time.

Each of Google’s 20,000 worker bees will get a $1000 “holiday bonuses” and 2011 salary increase of at least 10%, to take effect on January 1, 2011.

Makes you wish you knew more about computers than just paying Farmville on your computer, doesn’t it?

Sometimes gifts can end up costing you more in taxes, but not at Google. They’re even picking up the tax tab, too!

In addition, Google is also giving each employee an additional raise and will be eligible for “merit increases” based on their individual performance.

Google CEO Eric Schmidt wrote an internal email to his faithful employees says in:

I’m pleased to share some very, very good news with Googlers worldwide. But first let me say, on behalf of everyone on the management team, that we believe we have the best employees in the world. Period. The brightest, most capable group of this size ever assembled. It’s why I’m excited to come to work every day–and I’m sure you feel the same way. We want to make sure that you feel rewarded for your hard work, and we want to continue to attract the best people to Google.

Aww. What a nice boss!

Google is a truly amazing place to work. They have a huge cooking staff that supplies Google employees three meals a day (I’m talking tuna tar tar and steak here), and all the snacks, gourmet lattes, and bevvies you can handle. They also have scooter parking and play areas with Lego’s should you need to take a break and decompress.

This certainly keeps employees at work longer, thus working harder. But with all these perks, who’d notice!
