Black Friday is known as the best shopping day of the year. Every store in the country rolls out their best deals to attract millions of holiday shoppers. Not a fan of the big crowds? Don’t worry. Here are 4 fun ideas to change your shopping experience from stressful to successful.

  1. Bring your friends. You may think you need to brave Black Friday alone because you’ll be buying gifts for all your friends – so not true! It’s always better to bring a group of friends to keep you motivated when the crowds get to be too much. Plus, who better to give you an opinion on gifts than your most trusted friends?
  2. Get there early. Nothing is worse than finally finding a parking space, navigating your way to your favorite store and realizing they’ve sold out of everything on your list! Make sure you get what you need by arriving early. Added bonus: finish early and have the rest of the day (and weekend) to recover!
  3. Remember the internet. If you have some big ticket items on your list, save those for online. Cyber Monday will offer great deals and you won’t have to deal with crowds of people invading your personal space. Only buy what you know you won’t find on the internet (or you think will sell out fast) at the mall and leave the rest to Cyber Monday shopping.
  4. Just breathe. The holidays are about more than breaking the bank for great gifts. Remember that anyone who you buy a gift for will appreciate that you thought of them even more than the gift itself. Relax and enjoy the mayhem – it only comes once a year!
