Move over football fans, there’s a new Quarterback in town. And her name is Oprah. Starting New Year’s Day, the big O will launch her new network, OWN, at noon (est.), on the channel that is currently the Discovery Health Channel. (Check your listings!)

So, what programs can you except on this new network? Keep reading to find out!

Just how does Oprah fill up an entire network of programming? With a bevy of inspiring shows, that’s how!

Get ready for shows aimed at making your live bigger, better, cleaner, happier and thinner. In a word – get ready to be empowered.

According to iVillage:

Winfrey herself won’t appear on every show on the new network, holding your hand through your entire enlightenment process. This is about self-empowerment, people! She can’t do everything for you! Besides, she’s done that for one hour a day for the last 25 years. But she has promised to appear on 70 hours of programming a year. And rest assured she’ll be at the launch, hosting the first show, Oprah’s Guide to OWN.

Check out the lineup for that first day of programming… what will you be watching?
