There’s nothing like a mother’s love, but some are wondering exactly what that love is between Stephanie Seymour and her 17-year-old son. In recent paparazzi pics snapped on the beach, Stephanie Seymour and her son, Peter Brant II, seem to be a little too close for comfort.

The Stephanie Seymour photos are very touchy-feely and while it’s not against the law, they have made quite a few people uncomfortable. In one photo, Stephanie Seymour is kissing her son on the lips and in another, well, just keep reading….

Peter Brant II says he has a very close relationship with his mom and there’s nothing inappropriate about it. He explains via Gawker:

I would just like to say that these pictures have been taken completely out of context, my mother and i are very close as she is with all her children. she often hugs and kisses me and my siblings in an manner that is intimate, any mother in the world does the same. that day on the beach we walked around with each other completely aware of the presence of photographers there. We have nothing to hide and with that in mind I would like to say that I am openly gay. At my age my mother and I are almost like friends and I feel open to talk to her about anything (and yes our relationship may be different because of my sexuality).

Ok, feeling open to talk about anything and kissing her on the lips are two totally different things. And what about that other pic where Peter seems like a little, well, excited? Hey, whatever floats your boat, but the celeb gossip sites seemed to have gotten this one right. The relationship between Stephanie Seymour and her son seems a tad off. Gay or not–it creeps me out.
