Just when you had come to accept the fact that airlines were anti-consumer with their sky high prices, Vision Airlines has come along to shake things up! The charter airline based out of Georgia will begin selling tickets for commercial flights on Tuesday.

Get all the details after the jump!

Vision Airlines targets travelers looking to visit Florida on the cheap and when I hear “Florida” and “cheap” in the same sentence, I can’t but perk up. Unfortunately, Vision Airlines doesn’t fly anywhere near me, but for those of you down south, listen up!

Vision Airlines has announced nonstop service from Tampa Bay to Destin/Fort Walton Beach slated to begin on March 25. They’ll operate flights four days per week from St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport to Northwest Florida Regional Airport using a 30-seat Dornier 328 aircraft. If that route doesn’t suit you, there are 20 destinations in total to choose from including Punta Gorda to Northwest Florida. Then, on April 1 Vision Airlines will add five more cities including Orlando to its Northwest Florida service.

So if you live in the south and are looking to head elsewhere this summer, keep reading….

If you live along one of Vision’s routes, you may be pleasantly surprised by their current deal. The airline is offering a “new service introductory fare” special where you can snatch up seats for $49 each way. Nice, eh?

When it comes to low-cost carriers in Florida and beyond, Vision Airlines is worth a look! Check out their site for all the details.

  1. The flights seem very restricted for Vision Airlines, however hopefully as they grow they’ll expand their origin and destination city offerings!
