It’s hard to believe it’s already been a whole year since Tariq and Real Housewife train wreck Michaele Salahi crashed The White House state dinner, making a mockery of our country’s security.

With those weirdos out of the picture (hopefully), tonight’s annual State Dinner is cooking up some tasty grub for some of the most powerful people in the world.

Read on for all the juicy details of the State Dinner Menu…

For the past two state dinners, the White House has hired celebrity chefs to prepare a five star meal fit for a king, er, president. For tonight’s meal, the Obama’s are keeping it close to home with their in-house Executive Chef Cristeta Comerford and Executive Pastry Chef Bill Yosses rustling up the eats.

According to Obama Foodorama, the chefs have created a “quintessentially American” menu for Chinese president Hu Jintao at the request of his delegation.

Throw out the chopsticks, as the menu features American classics like poached Maine lobster, dry-aged rib eye steak with onions, stuffed potatoes, apple pie with vanilla ice cream, and an all-American wine selection.  What, no fortune cookie?

Take a look at the full state dinner menu:

First course
D’Anjou Pear with Farmstead Goat Cheese Fennel, Black Walnuts, and White Balsamic

Second course
Poached Maine Lobster
Orange Glaze Carrots and Black Trumpet Mushrooms

Wine: DuMol Chardonnay “Russian River” 2008 (California)

Dry Aged Rib Eye with Buttermilk Crisp Onions

Old Fashioned Apple Pie
with Vanilla Ice Cream
