And the Academy Award Nominations are…
It’s a big day in Hollywood. The 2011 Academy Award Nominations were just announced. Unlike the Golden Globes, fans of “The Tourist” and “Burlesque” are not going to be happy.
This year marks the the first time there will a whopping 10 films vying for the Best Picture Oscar. Some believe this heavily diluted category waters down the prestige of the award. But still, everyone wants it.
Find out below what films and actors are nominated for an Academy Award this year!
The 83rd Academy Awards nominations for Best Picture are “Black Swan,” “The Fighter,” “Inception,” “The Kids Are All Right,” “The King’s Speech,” “127 Hours,” “The Social Network,” “Toy Story 3,” “True Grit” and “Winter’s Bone.”
No real surprises there. But it is odd that a cartoon is up against a movie about a drug addicted boxer and a psychopath ballerina.
