  1. I still like Living Social WAAAY more.

  2. As for the Goupon for FTD. It is actually a bad deal. How it works. FTD gives the customer a $20 discount but requires the florist to make an arraignment that is supposed to resemble a $40 arraignment. What happens. Because most florist are small shops and are already running as cheap as they can they do 1 of 2 things. Refuse the order or make a less then satisfactory design. FTD charges florist to be on there wire service. They charge the florist each time they receive an order or send an order for the service. Then when a design is sold through FTD the florist gets less then 73% of the sale. Plus to make things worse. FTD takes their time to pay the florist.
    So, example think about it.
    $40 FTD design.
-$30 for actual flowers(florist pays this)
-$20 FTD discount( Florist has to accept this)
Equals -$10 dollars for the florist.
What quality will you get at that. This is why florist are leaving FTD.
Call the local florist in the town or go to a florist in your town, place the order and I bet you get a better deal and nicer service. Most florist really care about the customer.

  3. This is one awesome article post.Really looking forward to read more. Great.

  4. Thank you for posting these faceoobk pages of the wire services. As a florist for the past 39 years, I am embarrassed to be a member of Teleflora and will be canceling my membership. I have felt for the past few years that the wire services are a detriment to the integrity of the flower business by their promises to deliver the world .same day delivery no second choices and all for 29.99.Their frenzy to capture as many orders as possible without letting the customers know the limitations of the florists is the epitomy of greed. They undersell the product, over promise the expectations of the customer, and set the florist up for failure. It is time for florists to develop their own websites and educate the public to use a search engine to find flowers delivered in and urge them to talk directly to the local florist in the town where they want the flowers delivered. Wire services are no longer needed in the age of free long distance and the internet.

  5. Aw, this was a very nice post. Spending some time and actual effort to produce a
top notch article… but what can I say… I procrastinate
a whole lot and never manage to get nearly anything done.
