Last night on American Idol, the girls performed and Pia Toscano took the honor of getting the first standing ovation of Season 10. She sang I’ll Stand By You by The Pretenders and blew all three judges away with her heartfelt rendition of the classic.

Get more on Pia Toscano!

It looks like Pia Toscano, 22, is the girl to beat right now and it’ll be no surprise if she sails on through to the next round. The Howard Beach, New York native wowed judges and proved why she deserves to be in the Top 10. Will she win the competition? That’s up to America…

The top guys and girls moving on to the next round will be revealed tonight and the suspense is killing me. In the meantime, here are my picks for the top five girls:

1. Pia Toscano: Flawless performance and deserving of the standing ovation.
2. Haley Reinhart: Confident and knockout performance of Fallin’ by Alicia Keys.
3. Thia Megia: She’s only 15 years old and sings like a true star.
4. Lauren Turner: This maid is full of confidence and deserves to move on.
5. Lauren Alaina: Although last night’s performance wasn’t my favorite, she has what it takes to win the competition and I want to see her prove that to us.

Tune in tonight to see if America voted the same way.
