Spring is here which means summer is right around the corner. And what will summer bring? Amazing concerts! One of the hottest summer festivals around–Lollapalooza–released some discount early bird tickets yesterday which sold out in a matter of minutes. You can still snatch up the regularly priced ones if you act fast…FYI, Lollapalooza takes place in Chicago’s Grant Park August 5-7 and will feature some of the biggest names around.

The early bird 3-day passes were snatched up at $185/each and regularly go for $215. The regularly priced ones went on sale this morning so get yours now. Are they worth the price? Absolutely. If you’ve been to Lollapalooza, you know why and if you’ve never been to the festival, this is the year to go. It’s the festival’s 20th anniversary and will feature performances by Muse, Eminem and the Foo Fighters. Not enough to entice you? The full lineup will be announced April 26th and if past festivals are any indicator, Lollapalooza 2011 is sure to rock!
Lollapalooza 2011 is guaranteed to sell out. Last year’s capacity was increased to 95,000 and additional acreage was required to make room for all the additional concertgoers. Sounds like it’ll be a blast! A summer trip to Chicago is in order!
