When you’re a 17-year-old kid, you can only dream of your parents saying yes to a tattoo. But in Justin Bieber’s case, his dad Jeremy not only said yes, he got a matching tattoo! Talk about father/son bonding!
Tacky or cool? And what’s the tattoo? Read on and see the pic!
Back in May before heading out to Hawaii, Justin Bieber and his pops got a tattoo of the Hebrew word for Jesus, or “Yeshua,” while in Israel. The vertical tattoo is on their upper left ribcages and is in black ink. No one had any details on his new ink–until now when pics were posted on TheJustinBieberShrine.com.
Justin Bieber’s manager, Scott Braun, explained that the star’s Christian faith is a major part of his life and he even prays in English and Hebrew before taking the stage. “Justin heard me pray, he gets why I do it and now he does the same,” Braun said.
Justin’s dad Jeremy seems to be every kid’s dream–the cool dad:
‘I have a great relationship with my dad,’ The Biebs told Seventeen last year. ‘When I was younger, he taught me how to play some songs on the guitar, like ‘Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door’ by Bob Dylan. He taught me how to drive, too. He’s cool.’
This new tat isn’t Justin Bieber’s only ink. It’s accompanied by an outline of a seagull on on his left hip, which came before a big star on his left elbow in May.
Enjoy your new tattoo!
