We told you Wednesday that T.I. was released from prison one month early and was serving out the rest of his time in an Atlanta halfway house. Just two days after his release, T.I. has landed himself back in jail and something tells me this didn’t really surprise you much either.
Do you think people can really change? I’ve heard prison sucks, so wouldn’t you be on your best behavior if you just got out of the joint? Seems as if T.I., 30, had different ideas. The rapper seemed to be on the straight and narrow–getting a month shaved off his prison sentence, landing a VH1 reality show, getting a book deal….but now he’s back in federal custody after an issue with his mode of transportation–a luxury bus–has the wrong people peeved.
T.I.’s lawyer Steve Sadow says the star is back in the slammer because of an issue arising on his trip from Arkansas to Atlanta and is nothing drug related. TMZ has the scoop:
We are awaiting the opportunity to quickly resolve whatever the issue may be that the Federal Bureau of Prisons has with T.I.’s method of transportation, bus, from Arkansas to Atlanta, so that T.I. can return to the halfway house to complete the remaining days of his sentence.
Wait, why were you on a luxury bus in the first place, T.I.? Maybe someone should have given him a heads up about transport etiquette. No word yet on what the violation is exactly, but it had to be serious enough to land him back in federal custody.
Good luck, man–and next time, don’t take a luxury bus!
