The English songstress just came off her UK tour and was gearing up for an additional U.S. leg when her voice went kaput.
The reason for the added dates? Adele ALREADY canceled a stint of shows earlier this year due to illness and was taking this opportunity to make them up. Bummer!
Obviously Adele is upset. Said the singer:
Singing is literally my life, its my hobbie, my love, my freedom and now my job. I have absolutely no choice but to recuperate properly and fully, or I risk damaging my voice forever.
So what exactly happened?
My voice is weak and I need to build it back up. I’m gonna be starting up vocal rehab as soon as, and start building my over all stamina in my voice, body and mind. I will be back and I’m gonna smash the ball out the park once I’m touring again.
Let’s hope she gets better soon. Those are some precious pipes!
