The Avengers continues to rule the box office for the second weekend in a row. Audiences just can’t seem to get enough of Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, The Hulk, Hawkeye, and Black Widow.

The movie has now grossed over $1 billion – a number that shatters more box-office records that ever. Its amazing to think that one man – Stan Lee – invented all of these super heroes.

The Avengers (which already broke the all-time opening weekend record opening weekend) , raked in another $103.2 million estimated domestic gross this weekend.

In just 19 days, “The Avengers” is now one of 11 movies to earn over $1 billion worldwide.

The flick, which is very good by the way, was directed by Buffy alum Joss Whedon and stars pretty much everyone, including Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson.
