Sad news north of US today. News broke earlier that celebrity Canadian chef Anthony Sedlak suddenly died. He was 29. In case you haven’t heard of him here in the lower 48, Sedlak was the host of Food Network Canada’s The Main.

According to a statement released by Sedlak’s family Monday, he collapsed this past Friday from an “undiagnosed medical condition and his body was found in his North Vancouver apartment.”
After rising to stardom on Food Network’s Superstar Chef Challenge at age 23, he went on to host his own show for four seasons. Along with hosting Food Network Canada’s show The Main, Sedlak was also a judge on Family Cook Off, and was also authored bestselling cookbook, aptly titled “The Main.”
