After a light fixture apparently fell on her head, Chenoweth was rushed to a New York hospital. But later, in a statement from Ms. Chenoweth, her publicist said, “Kristin has been released from the hospital and is home recovering. She thanks everyone for their prayers and well wishes.”

The web was buzzing with speculation that Chenoweth was seriously injured, so this is very good news!

Here what happened: A spokesman for the New York Fire Department told The New York Times that a call was received at 5:07 p.m. that afternoon about a woman who was hit by scaffolding at that Brooklyn location, and that the woman had been taken to Bellevue Hospital with minor injuries, where insiders say Chenoweth was seen in the Intensive Care Unit sporting a neck brace.

We all know and love Chenoweth as the Tony Award-winning star of “Wicked,” and on “Glee” and “GCB.” “The Good Wife” is her latest project, and thankfully, not her last.
