Sage Stallone, the 35-year-old son of actor Sylvester Stallone, was found dead over the weekend. His body was found at his Hollywood Hills home, where it may have been for several days before being discovered. Authorities said there were not signs of foul play and that suicide was ruled out.

The eldest son of Sly Stallone was a 36-year-old actor, writer and producer, who made his film debut opposite his father playing Rocky Balboa Jr. in “Rocky V.”
According to TMZ, explaining Sage’s housekeeper had been “following standing instructions not to enter his bedroom, but ultimately checked on him Friday after his mom could not get in touch with him.”
George Braunstein, Sage’s lawyer and friend, told E! News on Saturday that he “never knew him to drink alcohol” and “never saw him take drugs” and said that “he wasn’t depressed.”
In Sly’s camp, a rep stated that “Sylvester Stallone is devastated and grief-stricken over the sudden loss of his son.”
So what happened? According to People, authorities are saying that reports that that Sage may have died from a prescription drug overdose were premature, and that they won’t know anything until an autopsy is performed Monday. Toxicology tests will take several weeks.
