Macaulay Culkin is looking rather skinny these days, leaving some to believe that the child star might be doing drugs. Press reports that the actor is addicted to heroin are being firmly denied.

So why does he look so ill? Keep reading for on Culkin and his alleged drug use… after the jump.

It was the usually unreliable National Enquirer newspaper that broke the story that Culkin had become addicted to heroin (and the prescription painkiller oxycodene) following his break up with actress Mila Kunis.

Said Culkin’s spokesman, “The report is not only categorically without merit, but it is also impossibly and ridiculously fictitious. We beseech the responsible media to consider the source and its reputation and to please not perpetuate this destructive and insulting story by pursuing it any further.”

The gossip rag cited a unnamed friend who said the actor was feeding his drug habit on a $6,000 a month budget. The fact that photos came out in February of the child star looking really skinny didn’t help.

Culkin had no comment. He is busying himself these days DJ’ing at New York City clubs.
